Poppy Farm is a traditional Working Farm in a tranquil rural location with panoramic views of the Whinfell and Howgill Fells. The area is untroubled by mainstream tourists but within 4 miles of the historic town of Kendal and 4 miles from the M6 junction 36.
It is ideal for easy country walking and touring the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Morecambe Bay and the Furness Peninsula.
We have a small site of four privately owned caravans situated in half an acre of fenced grassland suitable for relaxation and play, and typified by the call of the curlew on summer evenings.
We also have one caravan available for self catering holiday letting.
